Welcome to Peace Lutheran Church! I’m Pastor Eli Shaw and I’m thankful that God has called me to serve as your pastor.
As your pastor, it’s my desire “to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified” (1 Cor. 2:2). As His servant and “a steward of the mysteries of God” (1 Cor. 4:1), nothing gives me greater joy than pointing you to God’s love for us in His Son Jesus. That’s the most important thing you should know about me; that God has been gracious, loving, and merciful to me because of Christ.
The same is also true for you. Because of the cross of Christ, we have peace with God (Rom. 5:1). God gives us every good thing because we have been reconciled to Him through His Son. It’s a delight to serve you and point you to the great love that our Father in heaven has for us.
As for the lesser details, I graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in May of 2021. This is my first call to serve the Lord as a shepherd of His flock. I’m blessed to be married to my wife Lindsey since December 15, 2018. We have three children, Rylee, Jude, and Amelia (Millie). We thank the Lord for His many blessings to our family.
